Presupuestos received

All four Presupuestos have now been received and a meeting was held today between Jo Taylor (President), Sr Miolina (Arquitecto), Noel Kennedy (Committee Member) and John Newton (Project Manager) to choose the company we want to move forward with. We chose Inbradi as they were willing to perform both the civil engineering and electrical elements of the project, they were the cheapest price, and they are reasonable local (Alhaurin El Grande) so will bring employment to the local area as well as being quickly and readily available should problems emerge during or after the installation.

We can now re-contact Sevillana and ask for a firm commitment as to the amount that they will be offering in support. Hopefully this should not take long and then I will be able to tell you the exact cost per house. On the positive side I can say things are looking good with a price considerably less than the €3000 first estimated.

Letters for this years fees have been sent out

Today the letters for this years fees have been sent out. If you are not in Spain we would still appreciate payment as soon as possible as the monies will be useful for reducing the total expenditure of the imminent Electrical project.

You can print a copy of the letter and obtain the Bank details on the ‘Committee page‘ under ‘Useful Documents‘. Also, if you know any other resident(s) that are away from the Urbanisation please also let them know about the payment.

Meeting with Jose Antonio Solano de la Rubia

Meeting with Jose Antonio Solano de la Rubia (Concejal de Infraestructuras del Ayuntamiento de Coin), Sr Miolina (Arquitecto) , John Newton (Project Manager) and Ana Belen Banasco de la Rubia (Treasurer.Gestor). To discuss any possible involvement of the Ayuntamiento with the project. Sr. Solano will feed back within the week. One item that did come up was the CB Zona Verde, which Sr Solano said he would put into the Coin Plan for 2010, with a view to the Ayuntamiento giving the area a face lift.
