We have had a big problem in the Urbanisation with procession caterpillars. Some of our residents have had an allergic reaction and have been very ill. The caterpillars are also a big hazard for pets, and a meeting between caterpillars and pets can kill the pets.

Therefore we ask those of you who have pine trees, please get rid of them or at least take down affected branches and burn them, so not to spread the pests around. The committee has written to some of our residents to point out the problem, and for all our sakes please be observant and tend to the problem as fast as you can.
